Erma R. McGraw Meeks, 88, Elwood, died November 8, 2002 at Community Parkview Care Center-Elwood after an extended illness. She was born June 17, 1914 in Salem, Illinois, and resided in Elwood, Indiana.
She lived in this area most of her life. She was an employee of Delco Remy Division of General Motors and retired after 30 years of devoted service.
She is survived by her One Step-daughter: Martha Lu Quinn & her husband Edward of Birmingham, Alabama. Four Step-grandchildren; nine great step-grandchildren, and was a loving aunt to five nieces and one nephew, all living in Indiana: Betty & husband John Harvey of Richmond; Coleen & husband Richard DeCamp of Aurora; Paula Davis of New Castle; Jan & husband Ed Larrison of Seymour; Judy & husband Terry Thompson of North Vernon and Jerry & wife Mercy McLaughlin of Aurora; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband: W. Lowell Meeks whom she celebrated their 61st anniversary in 2001.
She is also preceded in death by one brother: Paul McGraw and two beloved Sisters: Gladys Walker and Irene McLaughlin.
