SALEM – Erin M. Pollock, age 41, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic surrounded by her loving family. Erin was born on April 8, 1977 in Salem, Ohio. She was a member of the Damascus Friends Church-Salem Campus. Erin graduated from United High School in 1995, and later from the CCCTC Medical Office and Phlebotomy program.
Erin faced many adversities in her life but always had a positive and fun outlook on life, encouraging and energizing everyone around her. She most recently was a preschool teacher at the Winona United Methodist Preschool. She loved teaching the children new things and they loved her.
Her greatest achievement in life was being mom to her beautiful daughter, Paetyn Howell. She is also survived by her loving companion, Richard Barnhouse; her mother, Karen (Rowlands) Pollock; her sister, Amy Pollock and nephew, Carter Simmons of Guilford Lake; her maternal grandparents, Albert & Ruth Rowlands of Salem; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, John Pollock, and her paternal grandparents, Elmer Pollock and Eva (Pollock) Riddle.
