Erin Lee Murk, age 30, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at her home in Sharpsburg surrounded by family. She was born October 8, 1985 in Columbus, GA to Harold Murk and Cheryl Hudson Murk.
Erin graduated from Georgia Southern University with a master’s degree in English. Shortly after she graduated she got a teaching job at the University as an English Professor. Along with reading Erin had a great passion for animals. She loved spending time with her horses, cats and dogs. She had a great joy for life and always had a smile for the people she met. Along with her parents Erin is survived by her fiancé Cameron Kerr, brother Brian Murk and his wife Fabiola. She is also survived by her new born nephew Nathan Murk and a long list of loving family members.
