Erika Dawn Carnes, age 27, of Tiger, Georgia passed away on November 30, 2022.
Erika was a person that loved people, and loved to help them. In her professional life she was a Certified Nursing Assistant, and a Phlebotomist. She always saw it as an honor to get to care for people. Erika had a great sense of humor and enjoyed a good laugh; she was always playing around and joking with her friends. Most of all, she loved her daughter and her family. She always made a lasting impression on everyone that she met and tried to always give aid to those in need.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lynn Lunsford Henderson and grandfather, Curtis Shirley.
Her survivors include her mothers, Monica Carnes and Beth Shirley; her grandparents, Boyd (Dorothy) Carnes; her grandmother, Bonnie Shirley, of Franklin; her daughter, Elliana (Ellie) Phillips; her brother, Jadarius Sosebee, of Gainesville, Georgia; her sisters, Alexandria Levit, of Tiger and Nyquasia Williams, of Gainesville; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family also survive her.
