It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Son, Brother and Uncle Erik R Marin.
He was taken suddenly to be with our Lord on September 17, 2014. He was born on February 20,1981 in Oxnard, CA, to Rudy Z and Vera Marin, and was a resident of Oxnard and lived in Ventura for the last ten years. Erik Loved to be around his family and friends and adored his niece Monique Marie Chavez and nephew Shawn Jerrod Prince Logan, they meant the world to him. He also Loved to be in the company of his pet chihuahua (Chico Marin). He had a great passion for singing, dancing and loved listening to music. Erik Loved to watch I love Lucy, and a variety of other tv shows, he also enjoyed going to concerts to watch his favorite artist Madonna. He loved to collect 50’s classic portraits of his favorite artists; which were Betty Paige, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley. Erik will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was always smiling and giggling and made everyone happy, and was the life of the party. It will be very hard to move forward in life without him, but we were truly blessed to have had him in all of our lives, and he meant the world to his three sisters, and was the baby and only son of the family.
Erik is survived by his parents, Rudy Z and Vera Marin, sisters, Gloria Marin, Dina Marin (Rodney Logan), and Diane Marin, and niece Monique Marie Chavez and nephew Shawn Jerrod Prince Logan. and will truly be missed by his best friend Richard Torres who was a big part of his life. Proceeded in death By his nina Dee Rojo, and survived by his nino Gene Marin also by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
