Eric W. Easterday, 50, of New Palestine, IN, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020. He was born in Rochester, IN on September 24, 1969. He is survived by parents; Homer E. Easterday and Marilou E. (Zimmerman) Holaday, daughter; Olivia M. Easterday, brother; Joel Holaday, sister; Jodi Hutton, and dear friend; Christina Spears. He was preceded in death by stepfather,;Duane Holaday.
Eric started his career in building and construction at the age of 15 as an apprentice building decks which led to home remodeling projects and building new homes and eventually doing what he really loved, historic restoration. He was widely known for his work in Lockerbie Square, Indy’s oldest residential neighborhood.
In his free time he studied architecture & design and history. Eric also loved to travel and sailing. Being an exceptional father, son, brother and friend was what mattered the most to Eric. He truly was one of a kind and he will be missed dearly.
