Eric left his signature craftsmanship all over the Detroit area up until his retirement in the summer of was a lifelong member of St. Anne’s Parish. He was a devout Catholic and lived his life according to his faith. His continuous acts of kindness and generosity varied from helping a stranger alongside the road to constructing a water system for an orphanage in Indonesia. He was a friend to all. As one of ten children, he grew up tromping through Sisung’s Woods along Stoney Creek, chasing after freighters on the Detroit River, and camping on the islands off Grosse Ile. He loved automobiles, the Great Lakes, the ships that sailed them, and trips to the great North. He was a true son of Michigan. Above all things Eric cherished his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Robin, 5 children, Eric (Rachel), Tyler (Rachael), Megan (Thomas), Anna, Trace, and three grandsons, Leland, Eric, and Beldren.
