Papula, Eric John Sr., of Salisbury Mills, formerly a long time Beacon resident entered into rest Friday, July 12, 2013. He was 43. Born September 21, 1969 in Beacon, he was the son of the late Joseph and Martha Conley Papula. Eric was a Correctional Officer for Fishkill Correctional Facility, Fishkill, NY. He was a kind and loving husband and father, he will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. On October 4, 1997, at St. John’s Church in Beacon he married Kristin Ann Rumsey, Mrs. Papula survives at home. In addition to his wife he is survived by three children, Eric Papula Jr., Rylie Papula, and Kyle Seymour, three sisters: Priscilla (Richard) Kramer of Beacon, Joann (Charles) Werner of Beacon, and Lisa (Robert) Burka of Gloversville, two brothers: Robert Papula of Beacon, and Martin Papula of Cold Spring, a granddaughter, Aiyanna Seymour, a sister-in-law, Caroline Papula of Beacon, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Joseph Papula.
