Eric Octto Ferrell, resident of McIntosh, was born Dec. 21, 1958 to the union of the late Mr. Herman and Myrtle Owen Ferrell of McIntosh. He departed this present life Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the age of 59.
In addition to his loving parents, he was preceded in death by his eldest brother, Herman Ferrell Jr.
A graduate of McIntosh High School in the class of 1976, he was employed with Fincher Timber Company. At a young age he began attending Lang’s Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in McIntosh.
He leaves a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Shirley Thomas Ferrell; one devoted son, Anthony Thomas; three devoted daughters, Tawana Thomas, Stacey Thomas and Briana Thomas; two sisters, Jacquelyn McCaddeen and Ursula Jackson; two sisters-in-law, Georgia A. Ferrell and Linda (Anthony) Witherspoon; four brothers-in-law, Horace (Renee’) Thomas, Curtis (Anthona) Thomas, Wayne Thomas and Darrenn Thomas; three grandchildren , Jeffery Sullivan Jr., Aubreigh Elise Hayes and Paislon Lloyd Thomas; mother-in-law, Mrs. Edwina Thomas; one uncle, Mr. William (Rubylyn) Owen; devoted friends Beverly Jenkins, Richard Finch, Izell Roberts, Osdorn Johnson, Lonnie Edwards, Rickey Jenkins, Carlos Hill, Tony Bell, Matthew Adams, and neices, nephews others relatives and friends.
