Eric N. Porter, 34, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Saturday Oct 15th, 2022. He was born on May 19, 1988, in Nashua, New Hampshire to Larry Porter and Nancy (Jones) Porter.
Eric spent most of his childhood in Odon, IN where he graduated from North Daviess High School. He was very involved with Boy Scouts and earned his badge as an Eagle Scout. Eric received a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at Ball State University, also studying abroad in England. Following Ball State, he enlisted in the United States Army and served in combat in Afghanistan.
Outside of his professional life, Eric or “Porter” as his friends called him, was a jokester at heart, had a go with the flow attitude, a kind smile and soul, loved the outdoors including biking, hiking, running, camping and paintball, was always willing to help and loved to travel.
Eric was preceded in death by grandparents, Ray Porter, Clifford O. Jones and Ernestine Snider.
