Eric Lane Entrekin, age 63, of Irvington, AL, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, following an extended illness. Eric was born on December 13, 1958, in Picayune, MS to the late Oscar “O.W” Entrekin and the late Peggy Bounds Entrekin. Eric graduated from Picayune Memorial High School and worked as a diesel mechanic for several years. He was a member of Daysprings Baptist Church, Mobile, AL and was an active member with the men’s group. He enjoyed watching westerns, woodworking, and crocheting. But what Eric loved most was spending time with his children, whether it was going hunting with his two sons, Randall and Daniel, going to car shows with his daughter Amanda, or attending his daughter Kelleigh’s archery events. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and was a friend to many. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Strain Entrekin, his son, Joseph Randall Entrekin, and his sister, Elva Entrekin Smith.. His nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends also survive him.. Mike Hall, Daysprings Baptist Church, officiating.
