Eric G. Nelson, 58, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin passed away on March 1, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Eric was born on November 11, 1963 in Wisconsin Rapids to Stanley and Harriet (Buss) Nelson. He was united in marriage to Cathleen (O’Connor) Nelson on November 15, 2006.
During his working career, Eric was store manager in the auto parts industry for over 30 years. He was a board member of the Central Wisconsin BMX Club and always ready to lend a hand at the track. Eric was also involved in stock car racing in central Wisconsin and loved rebuilding his father’s 1941 Chevrolet pickup truck.
He is survived by his wife; children: Ross and Dillon; and siblings: Carl Nelson, Carrie (Dennis) Nelson, and Maggie (Terry) Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Susan Larson.
