Eric Ferebee was born on December 2, 1956 to Blanche Ferebee and Sye Rosip. Eric attended PS 183 on Maple Street in Brooklyn, NY. Eric completed elementary school with the usual things that a child faces during this time in our lives. Eric went on and completed John Dewey High School and graduated with honors and his high school diploma.
Upon completion of high school, Eric messed around in the streets with his so-called friends, got into trouble here and there, but nothing serious. Eric went on to join the military and completed it with several medals and awards. Upon completion of the Army, Eric wandered around and dabbled in different things. He was a very talented artist, repairman and jack of all trades.
Eric wound up getting into the drug scene, which is where he met his wife, Zanior. They dated for several years before getting married. Zanior gave Eric two sons, Eric, Jr. and Michael Ferebee. He was a great father, husband and confidant. He was a true believer in the Almighty and had a heart and personality that made you aware of the power of God in him.
He fought a long battle for three years with ALS and finally went home to be with God on March 2, 2017 at 10:10 am. Eric leaves behind four sisters, six brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, a host of friends and a wife who will love him for eternity.
