Mr. Eric Vernon Ennis of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Mr. Eric Vernon Ennis was born September 17, 1964, to the parentage of Alfred and Ira Lee Ennis. He was raised in the Progress Village community.
Eric was educated in the Hillsborough County School Public Schools system. He graduated from Tampa Bay Tech High School, Class of 1982. He furthered his education at FAMU majoring in Electronics and graduated with the Class of 1987.
Eric was employed with Duke Energy for more than 33 years as an Engineer. He loved his job and the many friends he made while working there.
Eric loved sports and played softball on many Tampa Bay area teams. In his later years, he began playing golf. He was very competitive and a huge Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan.
Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Ira Lee Ennis; grandmothers, Willie Mae Starling Harris and Mary Ennis.
Eric leaves to cherish loving memories with his three daughters, Dominque Ennis, Erika Ennis and Cierra Adams; four brothers, Alfred Ennis, Jr.
