Eric David Haser, age 54, of Elmhurst, NY and longtime Norwalk resident, died suddenly at his home on Monday, November 22, 2010. He was the loving husband of Lorna Haser. Eric was born in Norwalk on November 20, 1956, son of the late Paul and Joy Scheuer Haser. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1974. While living locally, Eric worked for UPS for over 20 years and had been a truck driver in New York for the Teamsters Union.
In addition to his wife and step-son Alfred Tennyson, Eric is survived by his siblings Michael Haser and his wife Laurel Anderson of Trumbull, Nancy Dayton and her husband Paul of Alpharetta, GA, and Jane Peters and her husband George of Newtown, his nieces and nephews Scott and Abby Dayton and Ryan and Sara Peters, and his uncle, Jack Scheuer of Norwalk.
