Eric Charles Butto, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Eric was born February 15, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA, son to the late Natle and Angelina (Cianci) Butto. Eric was raised and educated in Philadelphia, and enlisted in the United States Army in May 1953, proudly serving his country honorably during the Korean Conflict. Eric worked as a crane engineer operator for over 35 years before he retired from the Philadelphia Local 542. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Eric is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years Sharon (Hawkins)Butto and their children Eric Jr., Steven, Maria(Michael), Diane(Robert), Dawn(John), Robert(Theresa), Brian(Wendy), Erica(Jeffrey), Melissa(Carl), James, Carrie, and Geoffrey. He was the cherished Pop-pop to 18 grand children and 7 great grandchildren. Eric was predeceased by his siblings Anthony, Joseph, Natle, Olga, Frances and Mary.
