Eric Andrew Rodman, 30, of Elkhart, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, as a result of a work-related accident while working at The Andersons.
He was born in South Bend on Feb. 6, 1983.
On Sept. 10, 2006, he married the love of his life, Tierah, in Elkhart.
She survives him, as well as his daughter, Ariana, and son Ryler Rodman, all reside at home.
Eric was a loving, dedicated and fiercely loyal husband, father, brother and friend. Although his life revolved around his wife and children, he would do anything for anyone and enjoyed helping others. He was very goal-oriented and had nearly completed his bachelor’s degree in business management at the time of his passing. He will be best remembered for his huge smile, his love for laughter and his boyish charm. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as a Fox Fire Support Specialist with the 2nd and the 4th Infantry divisions, completing two tours of duty in Iraq.
