Erek Tyler Cruz, of Woodridge, passed away suddenly on September 13, 2022. He was 29.
Erek was born in Harris Hospital on September 16, 1992 to Miguel A. Cruz and Ellen L. Hannold. He was a Fallsburg Central High School graduate and earned his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice at SUNY Sullivan. He is survived by his fiancé Jennifer Aguilar, his brothers Joseph Crespo, Matthew Cruz, Dominic Cruz and Alex Jefferson. Also, he is survived by his grandfathers, Roger Hannold and Modesto Cruz whom he was close to and raised by.
Erek cared for those whom he loved. If anyone was sad or upset he would make sure to cheer them up. He wanted the well being for everyone.
