Ercell Paul Brown, age 80, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House.
Born November 30, 1934, in South Portsmouth, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Charles and Lillie Cooper Brown. He was married to Susan Lawson Brown, his wife of 32 years.
He was a Marine and retired firefighter who served 31 years in the Baltimore City Fire Department. Before moving to Carroll County, he belonged to the Riviera Beach Volunteer Fire Company. He worked for a time as a courier for Carroll County Bank.
Surviving him in addition to his wife are children, Charles, David, and Donna, Melissa, and Christopher, and their families, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Juanita, Carrie, Francis, Edna, Roxie, Barbara, and brothers Berl, Charles, and George.
