Enrica Ester Maria Benvenuta Damiani Ritner, 93, entered into eternal life and the kingdom of God on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 9:10 a.m.  She was born in Brescia, Italy on April 14, 1925 to Giovanni Battista Damiani and Maria Stella Siragusa Damiani.  She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers and one sister and her husband John.
She grew up during the tumultuous and fearsome times of WWII.  She met her beloved husband, John A. Ritner at the end of the war when he was the Industry and Commerce Officer with the Allied Military Government, and she was a Translator in the Legal Office.  After a whirlwind romance, they married on October 29, 1945 and came to the United States in 1947.
Enrica and John were married for 63 years and had two children: John A. Ritner,Jr. (Amie) of Columbia, S.C., and Rita Anne Ritner of Orlando, FL; four grandchildren: James Andrew Ritner (Miranda), Melanie J. Hundley (Clint), Christopher L. Sielicki (Hope), and Nicholas E. Sielicki (Amy).  Seven great grandchildren: Jordan, Alex, Allison, Chloe, Brooke, Sara Catherine and Lauren.
After traveling around the world with her family, she has made her final journey home into the arms of her beloved John
