Enid B. Kunkel, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, entered Heaven on June 1, 2022. She is survived by her 3 children: Dyaeli, Miguel (Suzette) and Phil (Nardria); Enid was a proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren: Gaby, Emilia, Milena, Michael, Victoria, Elizabeth, Noah, Leah and Luke.

Enid, was born and raised in Clarendon, Jamaica, and immigrated to Pennsylvania at the early age of 16, alone.  She immediately planted roots for the rest of her family, married her then husband, Daleon Kunkel and moved to Miami in 1977, residing in south Florida for most of her life. She was a hardworking, trailblazing woman who loved her family unconditionally and spent a majority of her time serving and caring for others.

Enid was a nursing assistant who dedicated over a 30 year career to taking care of patients in Snapper Creek Nursing Home and Jackson Memorial Perdue Medical Center.

Enid was the lighthouse who guided everyone through the storm.  She passed her true faith in Jesus Christ to her family and to everyone around her; not by words but by deeds; a living example of faith.  She will be greatly missed but never forgotten; for her spirit of love, life and laughter will live on and on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
