Mother Emogene Johnson of Tampa passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021.
Mother Emogene Johnson was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida and was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. She accepted Jesus Christ as Lord of her life at an early age and was baptized by the late Elder W. E. Davis, Sr. of College Hill COGIC.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Timothy Calhoun and Louise Allen; daughter, Lillian Hall; and twin sister, Ernestine Lawrence.
She leaves to cherish her memory: three daughters, Ms. Margie Waldron, Ms. Linda Kaye Waldron and Ms. Brenda Williams; 16 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; half sister, Mrs. Mary Louise Helms; sister, Mrs. Mary Rose Love; brother-in-law, Reverend Esleman Lawrence; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives, neighbors, friends; special friends, Mother Glenn and Ms.
