Emmett moved to this area in 2001 from Montgomery AL. where he retired from the State of Alabama as Director of Bureau of Licensure and Certification. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Bonnie Lou, mother and father, sisters Laura C. Taylor, Evelyn Jones and brother Charles Taylor.
He is survived by his sister Mary Phyllis Owens and brother-in-law Henry Fred Owens of Fort Walton Beach, FL, as well as many nieces and nephews.
