Emmanuel “Mannie” Harhigh, 89, of Coopersburg, died Sun., Aug., 12 at his home. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Mae (Weller) Harhigh for 58 years. Born in Frackville, he was a son of the late Metro & Catherine (Sochar) Harhigh. Mannie served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years and was a graduate of Lehigh University. His career was in electrical engineering before retiring in 1997. He also had an avid love for animals. He is survived by his children: Suzan Graf, husband Larry of Macungie; Emmet Gregory Harhigh of Coopersburg, stepson: Douglas Wynn of Coopersburg, grandchildren: three, great-grandchildren: six, and sisters: Martha Harhigh of Quakertown; Irene Kalman of Ardmore, PA. He is predeceased by sisters Marion Hafner and Ann Wix.
