Emma Rose Francoletti McDonough, age 90, a longtime resident of both Bridgeport and Milford, died on June 26, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Coleman E. McDonough.
Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on October 27, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Barnabino and Quinta Bonvini Francoletti, She had a flair for fashion and loved things of beauty.
She is fondly remembered by her daughters, Patricia Bodnar and her husband Paul of Oxford and Colleen Otzel and her husband Paul of Milford. She is also remembered by her grandchildren, Marisa Roinestad and her husband Brian of Alexandria, Virginia, Nicole Hughes and her husband Jack of Bethel, Daniel Otzel of Milford, and Richard Otzel of West Palm Beach, Florida. Emma leaves behind one great-grandchild, John Coleman Roinestad. She is also survived by her siblings and their spouses, Irma Ceccorulli, Lindo Francoletti, Gina Poole and her husband Robert, and Mary Roberto and her husband Ernest. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Angelina Francoletti and her brother-in-law, Louis Ceccorulli.
The family would like to thank the staff at Carriage Green for their kindness and professionalism while Emma was in their care, and Life Choice Hospice for their care and support at the end of her journey.
