She was raised in Lufkin and married Elias David Owen on December 24, 1941. Mrs. Owen lived in the Houston and Katy area for many years. Preceded in death by her husband, E. D. Owen in 1973, Son, Daniel Kirk Owen, Grandson, Stacy Owen, and Brother, Oswald Hill, Mrs. Owen is survived by Sons, David Martin Owen and his wife, Sharon, and Dr. Jerry Bryan Owen and his wife, Betty; Grandchildren, Johnathan Bryan Owen, Linda Sue Henry, and Scott Owen; 5 Great Grandchildren; Brother, William Hill.
