Emma, the daughter of Fred and Rose (McCann) Swinscoe, was born November 27, 1922 in Buxton Iowa. She passed away, at the age of 87, on January 15, 2010 at the Chariton Manor, after being diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure.
Emma was united in marriage to Orval Nussbaum, Aug. 9, 1949. Emma was a devoted housewife & worked various jobs.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents; Rose and Fred Swinscoe, Son; Van Mitchell, son-in-law; Merril Woods, granddaughter; Gail Mitchell, and 2 sisters; Margaret Riggle & Audrey Riggle.
Survivors include, husband Orval of Chariton, daughters; Regina Woods of Knoxville
And Joan (Gordon) Skeffington of Waukee IA., Daughter-in-law Donna Mitchell of Dexter, IA. and her sister Imogene (Duane) Boothe of Chariton, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
