Emma Williams, 81, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022. She was the widow of Rev. Gwyned Williams. Born in Bowerston, Ohio on June 25, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Roy V. and Helen Marie (Zimmerman) Demuth.

 

Emma graduated from Moravian College with a teaching degree. She taught at Riverside Elementary School in NJ and later at Northampton Community College. Emma was a proud Moravian Pastor’s wife, and was heavily involved with the Moravian Church. She sang in the choir, helped with the busy workers society, was a director of the Moravian Museum, and part of the board of directors for Moravian Kings Daughters Home. She was also a member of the Nazareth Moravian Historical Society and sang in the Bach Choir. 

 

SURVIVORS: Emma will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Allen W. (wife Selina) and Jonathan M. (and wife Patricia); grandchildren Erik (and wife Tanya), Tara Bohner (and husband DJ), Benjamin (and wife Natalia) LT. JAGC. USN Alyssa, Nathaniel (and wife Katie), Nicholas, and Samantha; great grandchildren, Chelsea, David Jr., Evan, and future Baby Girl Williams; siblings, John Demuth and Esther Leggett.
