Emma Jean Johnson, 84, passed away at home with her husband David of 67 years at her side. Jean was born in Tallahassee and met her husband there while he was a student at F.S.U. They later owned and operated “David Johnson’s” on US 1 and I95 and 210 before retiring. Jean’s faith in God was the center of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband David, daughters Sherry (Ollie) Follweiler and Kathy (Norman) Rudin, sisters Sarah Catherine (John) Vanderslice and Betty Jo (Rick) McConnell ; grandsons Michael (Carmen) Johnson and Mark, granddaughter Heather and daughter-in-law Laura Johnson and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Robert.
