Emma J. Harris, 93, Huntington, IN passed away at 9:30 PM on Friday, March 15, 2013, at Oakbrook Village Nursing Home Hunitngton, IN. Mrs. Harris was born November 30, 1919 in Huntington, IN to Everett Lee and Leila Marie (Berry) Burley. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Harris worked for Lake County Judicial Center in Crown Point, Indiana for 19 years.
Survivors include four sons: Robert E. Harris, Jack L. (Maggie) Harris, Donald D. (Joyce Marie) Harris, all of Huntington, IN, Ronald W. Harris of Wheatfield, IN; One Daughter Donna J. Scher of Huntington, IN; Two Brothers William (Myra) Burley of Munster, IN and Arthur (Darlene) Burley of Arizona; One sister Esther Crotty of Huntington, IN. Also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 23 Great grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: One Brother Carl E. Burley; four sisters Anna Mitch, Betty Walker, Hazel Waters and Helen Waters.
