Emma “Gail” Kizziar Moody, 86, of Garland, Texas passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on December 4th, 2021. Gail was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on November 24th, 1935, to Florence Main Kizziar and Guy Kizziar Sr.

In October 1956, she married James Willson Moody and moved to Texas. They had 5 beautiful children. In October 1966, they remarried and added a sixth beautiful child.

Gail remained in Texas living in the Garland and Royse City areas for over 65 years. She worked as an administrative assistant for over 40 years retiring from both Neiman Marcus and UT Southwestern. She enjoyed participating in church activities, directing the church choir, ball room dancing, playing the piano and singing but above all she loved spending time with family. Gail was also a proud member of First United Methodist Church in Royse City and Garland.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Guy Jr., Jimmy Charles and Harley Gene Kizziar, her children Robin Elaine, Kathy Renee and Linda Marie and the love of her life James Willson Moody.

Gail is survived by her children: Jimmy Charles (Pete), Carol Ann and Kelly Eugene. Grandchildren: Erin, Trish, Jamie, Jimmy Jr (Petie), Brandi, Shelby, Lynn, Kacy, Teri and Peyton.
Great Grandchildren: Preston, Reagan, Aiden, Lauren, Jordan, Alexa, Devon, Malia, Casin, Caroline, Ricky, Preston (Brooks), Kevin, Logan and Paisley.
Great-great Grandchildren: Jax, Maverick and Brailynn.
