Emma Castillo, 83, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
She was born on April 26, 1932 in San Benito, Texas to Epifanio Sr. and Estefana Castillo. Emma was a lifetime resident of Harlingen, Texas and was retired from the Texas State Chest Hospital. She was a loving and devoted mother. Emma will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Anita Lopez, Josefina Romero, Francisca Romero, Maria Castillo, and Juanita Gonzalez; brothers, Israel Castillo, Jesus Castillo, Luis Castillo, and Ramon Castillo.
Left to cherish her wonderful memory are her son, Eric J. Castillo; her brother, Epifanio Castillo, Jr. (Pinky); and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
