Emily Mary Bush (nee Loeger), 101, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Hampton Ridge Healthcare and Rehab, Toms River. Born in Garwood, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Toms River.
Emily opened Emily’s Florist in Beachwood, NJ in 1960 and continued to operate it until 1986, when her daughter, Mary, took over the business. Mary then ran the business until 2010, when her daughter, Emily, continued the operations. She was predeceased by her husband, William C. Bush, in 1991.
Emily is survived by her two children, Mary Everitt and her husband Edward of Whiting, NJ, Louis Prigge and his wife Barbara of Marco Island, FL, four grandchildren Emily Kovalick and her husband Steve of Forked River, NJ, Crystal Foster and her husband Steve of Marco Island, FL, Will Prigge and his wife Marilyn of Marco Island, FL, Richie Palys and his wife Laura of Naples, FL, six great-grandchildren Maegan and Ryan Hogan, Stephen, Christopher, and Theresa Foster, Caitlyn Lima and one great great grandchild Aiden Lima.
