Emily Norman was called home on April 8, 2023, peacefully at her home in Blanco, NM. She was born on November 8, 1951, to Robert and Gloria Spitler.
Emily was a free spirit and loved life. She will be greatly missed and remembered daily for the lives she touched. She loved her family very much and would do anything and everything for each and every one of them. Emily spent most of her life working for San Juan County when she retired in 2018.
Emily is survived by her daughters; April Taylor and Anastasia Norman. Her brothers; Bobby and Billy Spitler. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Anthony, Aarika, Christina, Marlin, Krystalynn, Destiny, Savannah, Annette, and Roman. Her great-grandchildren; were Adrien, Evah, Maddison, Maxxwell, Maggie, Amelia, Jackson, Grace, Aleya, and Norah. Emily has numerous extended family and friends that she loved very much.
She is preceded in death by her daughter SharLee Norman. Parents Robert and Gloria Spitler. Sister Sandy Burroughs and grandchildren Annettie, Andrew, and Stephanie.
