Emily Dermott (Comer) Holmes, age 44 of Southampton, died peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving and caring family on Thursday, August 11, 2022 after a two an half year courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Tucson, Arizona on November 3, 1977 the daughter of Paula (Branum) Godfrey and Preston Godfrey.
Emily was raised and educated in Tucson and relocated to this area to attend Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, receiving her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
While in college, Emily met her future husband and true love, Ryan George Holmes and they married on May 23rd , 2009 and they celebrated thirteen years of marriage. Emily’s true passion was her dedication to her work and her love of family, truly enjoying their time together.
She is survived by her loving and devoted family, her husband; Ryan G. Holmes, daughter; Aspen Devous of Worcester, cherished sons; Declan Holmes and Cormac Holmes, parents; Paula and Preston Godfrey of Westfield, in laws; Denise Authier and husband Richard Authier of Easthampton, Bruce Holmes and wife Sharon Lessard of Easthampton, sisters; Anne Comer, Katie Sett and her husband Jason, brother; Mark Godfrey and his wife Julia, brother in laws; Christopher Warzenski, David Authier, Mike Authier, Corey Holmes and his wife Saramarie, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
