Mrs. Emily Ann (Kosem) Marchiori, 94, of LaSalle, passed away May 7, 2016 at IVCH in Peru.
Emilys greatest love was her family. She enjoyed a strong bond with her daughter Lynda and later enjoyed her granddaughters and her great-grandchildren.
Emily was born on July 28, 1921 in LaSalle to Louis and Julia (Novak) Kosem. She married Charles Marchiori on November 8, 1947 in St. Rochs Church, LaSalle.
She was a member of St. Rochs Church, Resurrection Church, St. Hyacinths Church, Catholic Daughters of America for over 50 years, SNPJ and the Slovenian Womens Union.
She is survived by her husband, Charles of 68 years; her daughter, Lynda (Claude) McKibben of Rochelle; granddaughters, Sarah (Jonathan) Black of Blacksburg, VA and Anne (Colin) Holbrook of Phoenixville, PA; great-grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth and Ethan Black; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Gens. Julia Kosem and Agnes Battistelli; and one brother, Louis in infancy.
