Emil Meyer, 86 of Centralia, passed away at his home on March 16, 2018. Emil was born August 28, 1931 in Centralia, IL. the son of Emil Meyer and Julia (Hugo) Work. He married Marilyn Aydt on September 24, 1954 in Centralia, and she survives him.
In addition to his wife Marilyn of 64 years, he is survived by two daughters; Kristy Campbell and husband Roger and Kim Molenhour and husband Kevin of Centralia, IL., two grandchildren: John Wright and wife Rita of Centralia, IL. and S/Sgt. Nicholas Spitler and Victoria of Clarksville, IN., two great-grandchildren: Leighton and Presley Spitler. Emil was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Mary Ann Kile. Emil was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia. He served in the Army National Guard.
He liked woodworking and loved spending time with his grandkids, family and friends.
