Emil J. Luther, 97, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 21, 2021 while in the care of Lehigh Valley Hospice. He was the husband of the late Julia (Glass) Luther. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Adam and Theresa (Duh) Luther. He worked as a crane man for the Bethlehem Steel for most of his life until retiring. Emil enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miller Heights, Limeport Fire Company and the Windish Hall in Bethlehem.
Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter in law Michaelle Luther of Coopersburg; brother Richard Luther and his wife Valentina “Pinkie” of Bethlehem; grandchildren Jason Luther, Jeffrey Luther and his wife Sheri and Julianne Luther and his loving great grandchildren Alea, Kelcy, Zaharah and Elizabeth. He was preceded in death by his son Stephen F. Luther.
