Emery I. “Jimmy” Dancsecs, 87, of Lower Macungie Twp., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Eleanor T. (Kerecz) Bodner Dancsecs with whom he shared over 29 years of loving marriage. Born in Rabakethely, Hungry he was the son of the late Imre and Maria (Kovacs) Dancsecs. Jimmy worked for the Bethlehem Steel as a Millwright for over 31 years until retiring in 1997. He was a faithful member of Holy Ghost Church, Bethlehem and the United Steelworkers.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Eleanor, he will be remembered by his son Matthew Dancsecs and his wife Maritza of Mountain Lakes, NJ; daughter in law Oahn Rachel Dancsecs of Huntingdon Beach, CA; daughters Barbara Stettler and her husband Raymond, Jr. of Bethlehem and Diane Kehm and her husband Ted of Macungie; grandchildren Dylan, Sophia, Donovan, Alexander, Ethan, Derek, Keith, James, Joshua and his wife Elizabeth, Jacob, Emily, Rachel, Alexandra and Grace; great granddaughter Ella and loving niece Cindy Himpler and her husband Frank and nephew Victor Hauser and his wife Sandra. Jimmy was preceded in death by his sons James Dancsecs and William Bodner and siblings Julius Barna and Margaret Hauzer.
