Elwood Gifford, 91, formerly of the Forman’s Chapel Road passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Robertson County Health Care Facility. He was a retired tobacco & beef cattle farmer. His wife Nina Rose Hester Gifford death occurred on November 2, 2005. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in WW II.

Survivors include a son Johnny Gifford of Sardis and a daughter, Ninette (Randy) Gaither of Louisville; three grandchildren Matt (Heather) Gaither, Jason (Missy) Gifford and Zane Gifford; three great-grandchildren Ashley, Brittney and Johnathon Gifford. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a granddaughter Sarah Beth Gaither; two brothers Richard Gifford and James E. Gifford; three sisters Wanda Fowler, Garnet C. Ring , Lillie Mae Gifford and a daughter-in-law Nancy Burns Gifford.
