Elvy James Pierce, age 89, resident of Semmes, AL, departed this life on Thursday, October 18, 2018. He worked in agreculture, at Tom Dodd Nursery, for 50 years doing planting, rooting, grafting, and budding nurseries.
Elvy is preceded in death by his parents; Less and Mary Pierce. He is survived by his loving wife Gladys Pierce, son; Robert “Bobby” J. Pierce, three daughters; Theresa Slaton, Dianna Pierce Gill, and Linda Howard, one sister; Betty Wallace, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
