Elvia Zamora born in Juarez Mexico and whom was living in Bakersfield went to be with the lord, after a long struggle with cancer on May 12th 2017. Elvia spent over 45 years making her home in Kern County. Married to Eleuterio Zamora Sr. for over 37 years, was a homemaker for most of her life and raised four children, and a few grandchildren. She became a United States Citizen, and owned a thrift shop for many years. She always saw herself as a savvy businesswoman and loved to make trips to Los Angeles to buy new merchandise to sell here and there. Elvia is preceded in death by her Father Juan Santana Hernandez, her Mother Santos Rodela, her older sister Virginia Hamm, younger brother Juan Hernandez and younger sister Esther Marie Adams. She is survived by brother, Max Hernandez and sister, Luz Vega. Her children Eddie Zamora, Martha Patricia Sanchez, Eleuterio Zamora Jr. and Terry Zamora, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren with many more to come. We would like to thank Hoffman Hospice for all the help and care they provided. To all the family and friends that helped us with our mother and brought a smile to her face during this difficult process.
