Elva Maxine Arbough (Pif) 92 – returned to her Heavenly Father on September 15.  She was born September 2, 1924 to August and Anna Pfeifle in Menno, South Dakota.  Pif was a loving wife, wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Al, and three sons, Tim of Parker, Scott (Kay) of Castle Rock, and Dan (Melinda) of Louisville, Kentucky.  Other survivors include Lynn Runge of Castle Rock, grandchildren Ryan, Jeff, Megan, Lee Galloway (Lynn), Reid and Trent, and great-grand daughter Layna Galloway.

Pif always put others first.  She was a school teacher in Beresford, South Dakota before meeting Al in Boise, Idaho in 1951.  Al and Pif were married in Beresford on August 30, 1952, and lived near St. Louis until 1953 when they moved to Colorado.  She continued to work until her focus shifted to raising her family.  Pif was the rock on which her family was built.  Pif supported her children at every turn whether it was encouraging them to follow their passions, attending a concert, driving to practice or resolving disputes among the three boys.

Pif was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos, a dog lover, and enjoyed playing bridge with her friends.

She was a very special lady who will be missed by her family and friends.
