Mrs. Elva Juanita Crenshaw was born October 28, 1936, in Neelyville, Missouri. Elva was the sixth of eleven children born to the union of Oliver Burnett and Clara Naomi Johnson Burnett. They both preceded her in death. She was instrumental in shaping the lives of her younger siblings.
Juanita (her preferred name) graduated from Wheatley High School in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, on May 25, 1956. She also graduated from Madam C.J . Walker school of Cosmetology in Indianapolis.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Harry Arnold (Bucky) Crenshaw on March 29, 1963.
Juanita embarked upon a career at Western Electric.
Mrs. Elva Juanita Crenshaw left this expression of life on Monday, September 9, 2019, and is now free and at rest. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Arnold (Bucky) Crenshaw, brothers; Lawrence J. Burnett, George W. Burnett, Floyd Burnett and sisters; Louise V. Blackmon, Annie N. Burnett and Olivia Williams.
Her loving memory is left in the hearts of her daughter, Tamra Lynn Crenshaw; sons, Danny Maurice Crenshaw (Elaine), Indianapolis, IN and Steven Keith Crenshaw (Yolanda), San Marcos, CA; grandchildren, Deric Crenshaw, Juanita Tate, Maya Tate and Jayla Crenshaw; sisters, Vivian E. Newby, Carson, CA, Electa J. Burnett, M. Carol Majors and Lula M. Patton, Indianapolis. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her Atlanta, GA Friends and caregivers are Renetta Wilson, Shawna Stroud, Jeriline Humphries, Beverly Dodson and Renee Arthur
