Vernon Elton Andreasen, age 73, entered eternity March 10, 2010, with his wife, Sybil, and his son, Rodney, by his side. Elton was born in Marianna January 9, 1937, graduated Marianna High School in the class of 1956, and attended Chipola Junior College. He loved sports and played football and basketball at Marianna High. He retired from the Jackson County School where he was Purchasing Agent. He at one time worked as a State Beverage Agent with the State of Florida and loved to reminisce about those times with many of his co-workers. He served as a Jackson County Commissioner from 1972-1976.
