Prior to that he worked other jobs that included being a paper boy; working at Meijers, McDonalds, and The Fountains at Bronson Place. He loved the Lord and spending time at the New Life Victory Church. Elson was a hard worker and retired from his job to take care of his mother when she became sick. Elson is survived by his mother, Esther; his father, Lawrence; sister, Msama Foote; and a niece.
