Elsie (Sue) Lipscomb
Elsie Susan (Sue) Lipscomb, 67, of Rowlesburg, died Monday November 30, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by her side.
She was born on May 9, 1948, at home in Preston County, a daughter of the late Howard and Hester Moats.
Elsie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and homemaker. She was a mother to all who knew her. She enjoyed word searches and crossword puzzles, and she was a southern Baptist by faith.
She is survived by her children, Franklin Lipscomb, Jr. and wife, Crystal of Mt. Morris, PA; Shelly Bosley and husband, Michael and Pamela Arbogast all of Fellowsville; four brothers, Lonnie, Joey, Charles and Dale Moats all of Rowlesburg; five sisters, Wanda Moats, Debbie Moats Sinclair and Brenda Moats all of Rowlesburg, Patricia Johnson and Kathy Moats both of Kingwood and nine grandchildren, Koda, Casey and Kaiya Lipscomb, Michael “Peanut”, and Chamberlin “Chubby” Bosley, and Shaylin “Shay”, Tia, and Haylee “Belles” , Olie “Willie” and their father Olie Arbogast.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin A. Lipscomb in 2003; two brothers, Donald and Gregory Moats and a sister, Carolyn Moats.
