Elsie Stamps Enfinger, 88
Okeechobee – Elsie Stamps Enfinger, known as “Miss Elsie”, died June 20, 2021. She was born October 17, 1932, in Atlanta, Georgia to William Orin Stamps and Mammie Pearl (Culberson) Stamps. A resident of Okeechobee since 1968, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Okeechobee. She loved children – her own children and all the others she took on as her own. She loved being a teacher.
Mrs. Enfinger was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Dallas Enfinger; sister, Virginia McCormick; and brothers, Roy Stamps, Charles Stamps, and Jimmy Stamps.
She is survived by her son, Danny Enfinger (Cindy); daughter, Cindy McCullers (Jimmy), all of Okeechobee; six grandchildren, Pamela Alexander (Justin), Billy McCullers (Shawna), Brian McCullers, Luke Enfinger (Katie), Bethany Long (James), and Taylor Enfinger (Deidra); and great-grandchildren, Saige (Trenton), Emma, Angelea, Alisa, Chloe, Bria, Ellie, Bailey, Adelaide, Lydia, Rosalie, Jude, Jackson, Cody, Dallas, and Sharyl.
