Elsie Rose Romeril, 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 25, 2022 in Greenwood, surrounded by family.  She was born in Indianapolis July 3, 1928 to Louis and Bessie Aeschliman.

Elsie grew up in Washington, IN and was a proud Washington Hatchet cheerleader. She raised her family in Greenwood and is the loving mother to Dan Schwab (Patsy), Mike Schwab (Bev), Heidi Stenftenagel, and Rick (Terri) Romeril, all surviving. In addition to her children, she is survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Elsie enjoyed reminiscing old times, hosting tea parties with her grandchildren, and an avid sport’s fan supporting the Pacers and the Colts.

She was a lifelong member of Edgewood United Methodist Church. Elsie was known as the ‘Avon Lady’ in Greenwood, IN and later employed at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL and Hooks in Indianapolis in which she retired from.

She was proceeded in death by her brother, Louis T. “Ted” Aeschliman.
Elsie will be remembered for her kindness and compassion to others and her faithful service to God.
