Mrs. Elsie J. Hairston McGhee went to be with the Lord on September 20, 2021, at the tender age of 94.
Elsie was born to the late Moses and Mary Hairston in Kentucky. Elsie was the oldest of nine children, 8 girls and 1 boy.
Elsie was the Mother of one Daughter, Doris Evens; she also raised her niece, Danielle Owens. Elsie was a loving Mom, Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt and friend.
Elsie is survived by her loving Sister, Louverna Hairston, her Daughter, Doris Evens and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her Sisters: Dorothy Jones, Mattie Spencer, Virginia Jackson, Louise Jones, Lena Pearl Hairston, Wanda Jean Hairston and her Brother: Moses James Hairston.
Elsie was greatly loved by her Family and will be missed very much.
